Singapore Tree Climbing Championship

CUGE will be hosting the Singapore Tree Climbing Championship (STCC) 2010 in conjunction with the Green Thumbs to be held at Carpark D, Pasir Ris Park.  The Singapore Arboriculture Society (SAS) is glad to be playing an active role in the 2010 STCC. Our Society will be assisting in the setting-up of the tree climbing equipment and judging.

The SAS will also be participating in the tree climbing competition.

Singapore Garden Festival
News
Singapore Arboriculture Society (SAS) participated in the bi-annual Singapore Garden Festival (SGF) held at Suntec City from 15 to 22 July 2010.

During the 8 day festival, there were lots of interest in Arboriculture. Our Arborists were on-hand to assist with queries and tips on tree safety and maintenance from the visitors to our booth.

ARBOR NITE
News
The Singapore Arboriculture Society (SAS) held its first “Arbor Nite” on the 30th April 2010 at House 1, Cuge. Its aim was to promote a casual atmosphere for Arborists to network and share experiences with each other.

 



 

There was a good turn out and those who attended were treated to a sumptious buffet and refreshments. On behalf of the SAS council, I would like to thank the Arborists and friends for taking time out to join us during this event.
